(Oh sweet and scary global warming...I won't think about you today )...
What did this snowy Sunday bring?
Hot cocoa with tons of whipcream...

Peppermint bark making...

And tons of snow frolicking with some mayhem thrown in... Frosty is cute too!!

Ending in a mama and girl evening full of nutcracker ballet and sugarplum dreams...!

^_^ birdycake on the go!
The peppermint bark looks amazing! Is it appropriate for a beginner in the kitchen? Smashing the peppermint must be fun! I want to try.
ReplyDeletehi there!!! peppermint bark is super easy!! melt the first chocolate in the microwave or double boiler (pot with water and glass bowl) and spread on a parchment paper lined tray. cool in the fridge for 10 minutes . melt the white chocolate , same way...pour over the cooled dark chocolate and while the white chocolate is "hot" sprinkle crushed candycanes over and pat it down a bit... tadahhhhh. try it!! :)
